Amble Harbour, Northumberland.

These pictures were taken on the pier and quayside on a lovely sunny day in September 2006.

At high tide a few waves were breaking over the breakwater.

But behind the water was very calm.

The Ice making plant being put to good use by youngsters cooling off in the river!
