Photos of Alnwick Castle

Alnwicks magnificent Castle is one of the finest in the land. It is the ancestral home of the Duke of Northumberland and houses many fine works of art.

Many pages could be written about the history of Alnwick Castle which begins around the 12th century, although it was nearly abandoned in favour of Warkworth Castle as the seat of the Dukes of Northumberland.

The Castle is open to visitors throughout the year.
