Brainshaugh Priory, Northumberland.

Brainshaugh Priory Ruins lie beside the River Coquet a short distance upstream from Warkworth.

Thr Priory was founded around 1147 but fell into disuse by 1500. All that remains are some of the chapel ruins and a surrounding wall which is obviously more recent.

The ruins are on private land.
