St. Mary Magdalene Church, Mitford, Northumberland.

Nestling in a valley opposite the ruins of Mitford Castle is the very pretty Church of St. Mary Magdalene.

The Church was built in 1135 in the shape of a cross. The bell is claimed to be the oldest in Britain.
