St. Peter's Church, Newbrough, Northumberland.St. Peter's was consecrated in 1170. The first church was built in the twelfth century, in 1929 traces of Roman structures were found next to the north wall of the church, possibly from the second century. There is a table monument in the churchyard dating back to 1695, also the sword stone from late thirteenth century.
