A few miles south of Cresswell is Newbiggin by the Sea.
The view here is the beach between Church Point and Beacon Point.

Just south of Newbiggin is the mouth of the River Wansbeck,
seen here from Cambois (pronounced "Camuss") Beach.

This is a view south along Cambois Beach towards Blyth at sunrise.

The next River Mouth, a couple of miles away is that of the River Blyth.

The town and Port of Blyth are the largest in Northumberland.

Once famous for shipbuilding and dismantling, the port is still busy
for cargo and leisure.
