These photos were taken at Woodhorn, Ashington.

This line used to carry passenger trains to Newbiggin as well as coal from Newbiggin, Lynemouth, Ellington and Woodhorn collieries.

It now serves the Alcan Aluminium Smelter and Power Station at Lynemouth.
