St. John the Baptist Church, Ulgham, Northumberland.St. John the Baptist Church stands on the corner as you approach the village from the north. The present church built on a Norman site dates from the mid-1840's. A carved window head was built into the north aisle and has been dated as Anglo-Norman, about 1100.
