Photos of Coney Garth, near Ashington, Northumberland. There is a small lake at Coney Garth near Ashington. Years ago it was only a pond but has grown due to mining subsidence. It is a regular stopping off point for migrating geese, as well as being home to ducks, swans coots, water hens and other birds. The lake is on private farmland and there is no public access so the birds are undisturbed. The photos may take a while to load depending on your connection speed.
