This is easily the best site on photos in Northumberland. I have
been looking at it for 2 years now.
I do a lot of walking and your site has encouraged me to take a
camera!

As a former resident of Bothal (Castle House 1992-1999) my fond
memories of the village are evoked by your excellent photographs.
I used to enjoy witnessing the changing effects of seasons and
can see your photographer does so too.
Please keep up the excellent work.

My late grandparents Jack and Lizzie Mitchell used to live at Whitehall
Farm in the College Valley and my surviving aunt Florrie and late
uncle Charlie Antrobus lived in the nearby Bungalow. All moved away
in 1954 or thereabouts following the death of Sir Arthur Sutherland.
Does anyone remember them?

I was looking for information on castles in Northumberland and
came across your site.
The pictures are very, very good. I really enjoyed looking at them.
I have bookmarked your site so I can return to it, and so look
at all the pictures of places you have photographed.

Northumberland has a serene beauty; a beauty beloved throughout
one's life.
I am struck by how similar it is to my home country, here in northern
New York, as I remember it from my childhood.
And the music's great, too!
God save England (and preserve Northumberland)!

Originally from Morpeth - love the site as it keeps me updated
on what is happening in my old 'home town'.
Hopefully one day I will be able to go back and play tourist.
Also good to see photos of Hexham and Wark etc, regions where members
of my family lived.

Well, I was wondering how this place looks like that bears my
family name... I am interested on any background information on
where it comes from.
Thank you anyway.
